Why is your data center located in USA?

Actually, we do not even have any data center. Sorry to disappoint.

In fact, we do not have any intention to have our own datacenter at all, not now, not in the near future.

The reason why we are able to sell our packages with big amount of resources allocation and able to grow with such phenomenon number of customers in such a short time is that we use the economies of scale. We purchase hosting space and bandwidth from a highly reputable hosting distributor partner and sub-lease these packages into much more realistic sizes for the businesses, big or small, allowing our SME customers a much more affordable and projectable cost for hosting your websites and email accounts.

Our partner’s hosting servers are located at The Planet datacenter, Texas, USA, featuring state of the art security, power, safety, and cooling systems – all designed to ensure that services remain uninterrupted. All the hosting servers are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Issues arising are acted upon before they become serious, with all engineers following a very tight and restrictive escalation protocols, thus ensuring near-zero downtime and 99.9% uptime, guaranteed.

Imagine the amount of cost we have to cough out to provide such a environment for our hosting servers, and imagine what kind of cost you'll be paying in order to enjoy these security and peace of mind! We are able to provide your hosting account such an environment and it don't cost you an arm or leg at all, and you can be rest asssured your hosting accounts are in great hands.

In fact, if you have an account currently with another vendor and thinking of switching to another hosting company, there can only be these few reasons why you'll do so:-

  1. Your current hosting package is too expensive
  2. Your resources (hosting space, bandwidth, allowable email accounts, etc) provided by your hosting vendor is too low
  3. The service or support provided is too bad
  4. Server downtimes are either too frequent or it takes days to recover from any downtime

So, why your current hosting package is expensive?

Unless your current hosting vendor is hosting your account using their DIY server and connected to the Internet via Starhub Cable or Singtel MIO and that the server is resided beside his bed in the bedroom (don't be surprised, lots of our customers were from these environments!!), their cost of running a server will not be cheap! To get a branded well-tune server with high end hardware and full redundacy, resided in a reliable and secured datacenter, manned by well-experienced engineers 24/7, is not something that is cheap and easily affordable. A good hosting vendor will provide you all these but at a much higher cost, but is still quite worth it. However, a crooked vendor will not provide any of this and yet charge you astronomical fees, and the worst part is, you'll never know what kind of vendor is he.

Let's assume you are with a reliable and reputable vendor.

In order for your vendor to recoup their cost, including hardware and software, datacenter fees, employee's payroll, they have to share your server with more customers like you. The more you share with others for 1 server, the cheaper and cost-efficent for your vendor.
